Spring Trip to Orlando May 14-18, 2009
Each year, the LTHS Band takes a Spring Trip as a reward for a year of very hard work in band, and the students love it. Late each spring, the students choose where the band will go the following spring. On alternating years, the band travels outside of Texas. For 2009, the band will travel to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
It takes a lot of pre-planning to accomplish a trip of this magnitude for a large band group of 170+. Reservations are made early for the hotel and various tickets. All current band members are welcomed on this trip, and the band always travels well-chaperoned.

(bring to Everything Day, 8/4/08) Mark your calendars for the MANDATORY Spring Trip Meeting, Thursday, May 7, 2009, 7:00 pm in the Band Hall. Every student participating in the trip and at least one parent are required to attend.
